HEBI Robotics Tready: Terrain Robot

HEBI Robotics Tready navigates challenging terrain with ease.

Introducing the latest innovation from HEBI Robotics: the Tready four-legged tracked robot, engineered to conquer challenging terrain and ascend stairs with remarkable agility.

When it comes to traversing rugged landscapes, engineers often face a choice between tracked platforms and bipedal walkers for robotic locomotion. While walking robots excel in maneuverability and obstacle negotiation, tracked robots offer simplicity and stability. However, exceptions exist, such as the Japanese robot featuring a soft tracked chassis capable of scaling steep stairs, including spirals.

In August, HEBI Robotics unveiled the Tready, boasting a quadrangular body supported by four rubber-tracked legs. Compact yet robust, the Tready measures 110 centimeters in length and 48.5 centimeters in width, weighing 25 kilograms. With a top speed of 0.5 meters per second and a runtime of two to three hours on a single charge, this versatile robot demonstrates exceptional mobility and endurance. Equipped for versatility, the Tready can be outfitted with additional components such as manipulators and cameras, offering remote control capabilities for various applications.

Notably, the Tready's rugged design extends to its waterproof construction, enabling it to operate underwater for up to half an hour at a depth of one meter. This feature enhances its utility in diverse environments, from outdoor terrains to aquatic settings.

During traversal on relatively flat surfaces, the Tready maintains its tracks in a horizontal position. Upon encountering obstacles such as fallen logs or large rocks, the robot dynamically adjusts its stance, elevating the front tracks to surmount barriers efficiently.

HEBI Robotics' Tready represents a cutting-edge solution for navigating challenging terrains and executing complex tasks with precision and reliability. With its robust construction, adaptable design, and superior mobility, the Tready sets a new standard for versatile robotic platforms, poised to revolutionize various industries with its unparalleled capabilities.
